lanolinWhat I like about the Medela Symphony Breast Pump

This is a closed system hospital grade pump. It can be shared safely because it does not suck air into the machine but instead has two pistons at the top that are responsible for the suctioning effect as they go up and down. With this Medela Symphony Breast Pump, you can be guaranteed with the benefits of the hospital-grade breast pump.breastmilk storage bags

Medela Symphony Breast Pump is one of the best breast pumps on the market today. It is extremely quiet as compared to the other brands. It is also easy to clean and the flanges are exchangeable if you want to have different sizes.

User-friendly design

Medela Breast Pump ReviewIt has replaceable and compatible parts, easy-to-use buttons and its 2-phase expression is efficient because it first stimulates your breasts to start the milk production, and then the pressure slowly climbs up into full pumping action. This has a softer effect on your nipples.

You can pump on both sides simultaneously. In fact it has effectively increased my breastmilk supply when I use it. It also takes less time to express milk.Medela Breast Pump Review

What I do not like about the Medela Symphony Breast Pump

One of the drawbacks of this product is that the water often accumulates inside the tubings. Also, these tubings can wear out easily. This is causing me much more money than I had anticipated to maintain the hospital grade breast pump. I personally have the opinion that these connectors are badly designed because they are attached diagonally and downward. Also, the inner valve is difficult to remove for cleaning. At 7 lbs, it is a bit heavy to carry around. This shortcoming has stopped me to bring it along with me while traveling, it is so weighty to keep this breast pump in my travel bag.
